Objective

To gain admittance to a graduate school that will build a strong foundation for my future career in painting. I will share my artistic voice through gallery exhibitions and continue to create paintings that utilize innovative, textural elements in their design.

Fine Artist - Painter 05/2010-Present

Self-Employed from in home studio. Creates and sells paintings and prints online. Paints commissions for patrons. Maintains website content.

Current Work Thesis: My paintings are a quilt of contrasting pattern and texture that when combined create visual portals to my mental snapshots.

Mesquite High School – Clay Club Volunteer 08/2010- Current

Assist Instructors with loading and unloading the kiln. Aid guest speakers and help students with art projects.

Summer Art Academy - Classroom Instructor 06/2012-07/2012

Responsible for creating curriculum and teaching the follow summer art courses: Fun With Pattern (ages 5-8), Learn To Draw Things You Like (ages 5-8), Pen And Ink (ages 9-13), Acrylic Painting (ages 9-13), and Cartooning (ages 6- 13).
