Lauren Kleck was born in Indiana and raised in Arizona. She currently works out of her in-home studio and plans to apply for graduate school in the fall. She is most known for her series of paintings titled "Quilted Passages". Inspired by her mothers sewing and quilting growing up, she arranges her work into a patchwork of circles. In these paintings Lauren explores duality and narrative through contrasting images. Dichotomy is also explored through her use of acrylic paint and mixed media to create pattern and texture.
